About the Role

We are hiring an ESTIMATOR to work with our Australian client in construction and interior industry.


This is a full-time, permanent, day-shift, office-based in Cebu City.

Responsibilities

  • Communicating with existing and new clients / suppliers on project requirements.
  • Preparation of quotes and tender proposals for trade packages required.
  • Monitoring tender platform websites and emails for any new project information.
  • Mark-up drawings showing scope of work required.
    Able to complete material take-offs and send take-offs to suppliers for pricing.
  • Input of data, primarily using MS Word and Excel.
  • Build solid relationships with clients, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Regularly follow up on quotes & proposals sent out.
  • Assist in selling the services we provide to our clients.
  • Source and reach out to new suppliers for products or services not previously used.
  • Closely communicate with Company Director & Chief Executive Officer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant experience as an Estimator
  • Experience in tendering and cost estimating in different disciplines
  • Ability to read plans, measure and quantify materials needed.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, focused and organized
  • Have used Odoo, PDF Xchange Editor, and Office Apps (especially Excel)
  • Positive and professional attitude and able to work with a team
  • Good understanding of Workplace, Health & Safety.
